Before Gran died, Gramps was the beloved Other Father Christmas at the local community centre Grotto – so when Santa Claus announces his retirement, ten-year-old Mikey secretly enters his reluctant Gramps into Santa Search, a magical competition to find the next Father Christmas.
Swept away to Christmasland – a world of gingerbread escape rooms and bottomless hot chocolate – they must face enchanted trials, outwit a mysterious saboteur, and rediscover the true meaning of the season. Illustrator Shahab Shamshirsaz began drawing from a young age and studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. He later discovered a passion for telling stories through images and is especially fond of fairy and folk tales from around the world. He now lives in Tuscany, Italy.

SERENA HOLLY is the pen name for the creative partnership of award-winning writers Priscilla Mante and Jasmine Richards. Priscilla Mante is the author of Jaz Santos vs. the World and Football's Hidden History. She grew up in Glasgow on a steady diet of books and football and now lives in England where she spends her time writing stories for children and adults, traveling and trying out new recipes from around the world. Jasmine Richards is the author of the Unmorrow Curse duology and a screenwriter on PJ Masks and Jo Jo and Gran Gran. As chief storyteller at Storymix she has created over twenty- five books for children and teens including Future Hero, The Marvellous Granny Jinks & Me! and the Aziza’s Secret Fairy Door series.
